Growing up I was not much of a reader. I never found a genre or book that was interesting enough for me to read. I had to read books in School for assignments but that was the extent of my reading. Once I became an adult I started viewing reading as a way to not only become smarter, but learn new skills that will help me be more succesful in life! I've been reading a lot of books recently on wealth and how to become rich. I wanted to share a few things that I have learned and started doing. 1. A saying goes like this "A poor man will acquire debt , while a rich man will acquire assets ". A typical American likes to spend money on things that just build up debt. Examples include cars, TVs, phones, etc. But I've learned from school and reading books that investing money into assets is the key to provide additional income that allows you to use that money for luxury things.
